Music is the closest thing humans can do to magic, a series of vibrations that can transport people to other planets and make them feel energies, rhythms, and ideas. Music has been a way to speak for many silenced voices, a friend in lonely times and a tool to ask for freedom; as Madonna said, music makes people come together.

Pride month is upon us; the importance of music in the LGBTQIA+ community is undeniable, for artistic expression of these kinds has sometimes been historically the only space where queer people could find a safety net of understanding. This is why, to honour these incredible musicians, we have created a playlist to dance towards complete equality this month and always. Each member of the UNO team has added a tune that makes them smile and celebrate.
